To nurture students' aesthetic perception
and promote their ability
to appreciate and express themselves through art
while inspiring their passion for artistic expression.
Characteristics of the Curriculum
Cultivate Appreciation
Understand the visual arts from multiple perspectives and foster respect and inclusivity. Expand students' aesthetic experiences and cultural awareness through appreciation of diverse cultural arts. Besides introducing masterpieces, students' works are appreciated and learned from each other.
Distinctive Art Media
The curriculum includes ceramics, woodwork, printmaking, and digital creation. Ceramics are offered in Primary 2, Primary 4, and Primary 6, enhancing students' creativity, aesthetic sense, and fine motor skills through pottery moulding and sculpting. Other media cultivate students' diverse artistic expression abilities, stimulating creative thinking and aesthetic experiences.
FSSAS Little Artist
We strive to nurture and celebrate the creativity of our students, providing them with abundant opportunities to showcase their talents. One such opportunity is our monthly "FSSAS Little Artist" booth, where our young artists proudly display their artworks. Furthermore, they have the privilege of conducting workshops that engage students from across the entire school community.
Every child is an artist.
The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.
