Dear parents and teachers,
First of all, on behalf of the PTA, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued support and cooperation with both the PTA and the school. Over the past year, through our collective efforts, we have successfully organised a variety of activities, including the PTA family outing, the Chinese New Year Barbecue and Devil's Peak Excursion, the Cheung Sha parent-child excursion, the community care visit, and the "Box of hope" gift box donation. I believe each of these activities has enriched our children's school life. The smooth running of these events would not have been possible without our dedicated committee members and parent volunteers who gave so generously of their time and energy. Once again, my sincere thanks to all of you.

As PTA Chairperson, I feel deeply honoured and understand the weight of responsibility that comes with this role. Today, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you several key goals for the PTA in the coming year.

First, strengthening home-school communication and building bridges of cooperation. We hope to further enhance our communication channels through online platforms and parent gatherings, enabling us to better understand parents' voices and needs in a timely manner. At the same time, we will continue to work closely with the school to translate parents' suggestions into concrete actions, jointly creating a better environment for our children's growth.

Second, focusing on physical and mental wellbeing to promote family harmony. Parents' wellbeing is equally important. In the past, we have organised a wide range of interest classes for parents, including baking, macaron-making, badminton, HIIT fitness, K-pop dance, balloon twisting, pottery, and glass painting. These classes provide parents with opportunities to learn new skills, develop personal interests, relieve stress, and connect with one another. Looking ahead, we plan to offer even more diverse interest classes, including parent-child classes that allow families to participate together, fostering stronger bonds and family harmony.

Third, promoting diverse activities for holistic development. Beyond academics, we plan to organise more varied activities such as arts and crafts, sports competitions, and environmental initiatives to help children discover their potential and develop their interests. We also encourage more parents to volunteer and participate in planning and running these activities, so that our children can feel greater warmth and energy within the school community.

Fourth, actively participating in community service and giving back together. In May 2025, we joined hands with the alumni to organise a community care visit. During the event, we visited elderly residents, learned about their daily lives, shared stories with one another, and enjoyed a pleasant afternoon together. Additionally, this past November, we organised the "Box of hope" gift box donation. Through donating gift boxes, we brought warmth and joy to children in need, while nurturing our own children's empathy and their willingness to care for others, spreading a positive message of love and hope. In the future, we hope to promote more community service and charitable projects, allowing children, accompanied by their parents, to strengthen family bonds while learning gratitude and generosity, developing an awareness of community care and a spirit of helping others, and growing into responsible citizens.

The strength of the PTA comes from each and every one of you. Moving forward, we need more enthusiastic parents to join us. Whether it is offering suggestions, volunteering, or participating in event planning, every contribution you make is a precious gift to our children.

Let us continue to walk this journey together, accompanying our children's growth with love and wisdom, and creating wonderful school memories for them. Let us also continue to work closely with the school to nurture the next generation to be individuals of virtue and talent who are mindful of themselves, care for others, and understand the world.

Thank you all.
