Egg drop competition Print this pagePrint this page

On 29th November, six students participated in the “Egg Drop Competition”. In this competition, students worked in pairs. They used assigned materials and followed the criteria set by the organiser to make an egg catcher. They used their egg catcher to protect a raw egg dropped from a height set by the organizer.

Students designed the egg catchers and analyzed the performance of their designs enthusiastically before the competition. They found that the network structure can help to absorb the shock when the egg reaches the ground. They continued their investigation in that track.

The students were delighted to obtain the fourth place. Their next goal is to challenge themselves to get into the top 3 positions. Their enthusiasm, spirit of cooperation and their creativity is highly appreciated.
